New in beta version 0.994:
- Changed the way the Main View resizes (again): the contents now resize with the correct proportions.
- Added F1C to the game filter list.
- Fixed a bug causing the room options not to be stored and retrieved anymore.
- Fixed a bug where the server counter was displaying an incorrect number.
- Fixed a bug that caused new rooms to appear in the server list even though that specific game was filtered out by the options.
- Some people (apparently mostly Vista users) still encounter empty server lists. When entering the client and the server list is empty, a refresh button will appear. Clicking it retrieves the server list and the button will disappear.
- Restored selecting multiple tracks for dedicated servers, but there's a limit of 20 tracks to be selected per room.
- (GTR2) Added flag rules option.
- (GTR2) Added GTR2 menu support for '7th & rear gear' menu and 'Advanced' menu. It can be selected from the Tyka game profiles menu. To use the Advanced menu it needs to be installed manually as it requires a different GTR2Options.GTR file. It can still be used without, but it will give an error while launching the game and the menu's graphics are a bit messed up.
- (ARCA) Skins are now supported and can be selected from the in-game menu.
- (ACTC / ARCA / rFactor) Added options for: blue flag, private qualifying, hotlap completion, session delay, race delay, vote percentage add AI, vote percentage next session, vote percentage other, minimum voters, maximum restarts.
- (ACTC / ARCA / rFactor) Removed the practice, qualifying and warmup start times from the room settings as they are only applied to singeplayer by the game.
- (rFactor) Changed the Create Room window to have more space for all the new options. The car upgrades have been moved to the new third tab.
- (rFactor) Fixed a small big where the car upgrades weren't correctly displayed when switching mods..
- (NR2003) When resuming from the game, Tyka will restore the default options.
- Added updates in preparation for our automated Tyka leagues: you can now specify your timezone in your user profile.
This has been quite a large update (also internally) so if there are any problems, leave a post on our forum.
Most of the basic features have now been completed, the most important problems have been fixed and this update should satisfy most requests I've been receiving. The next update, aside from the smaller bug fixes and Tyka league updates (see below), will be focused on making the cheat reports available to admins. More news will follow later on this subject.
And finally, our new Fanatec Porsche Supercup 2008 league starts this week! The league will be fully automated in Tyka. The website (www.tyka.net) has been updated with all the latest information.
