Tyka Server Edition


To use the Server Edition, please follow these steps:


1) Download the Server Edition installer and install Tyka.


2) You will need to create a Tyka user-account if you do not have one already. Open Tyka and click the register button to create a new account. The real name, country and email address of this account will be displayed in the servers’ profiles.










3) Log in with your user account.











4) You will need to add one server name for each dedicated server you simultaneously want to host. It is not possible to use one server name to host more than one dedicated servers at the same time. A maximum of 10 server accounts can be added to your user account. To add new server names, click the ‘Add Servers’ button.


5) The server names are displayed in the client (e.g. ‘MyServer1’, ‘MyServer2’, ...). For now it is not possible to remove or modify server names. The server names cannot match those from existing user accounts or other server names.


6) Once you have one or more server names, you can select a name and log in. Tyka can then be used like the normal version to create a room. To launch more than one server, simply open another instance of the server edition and select another server name (the servers that are already online are not listed in the selection).
