League Tools
How do most leagues currently work? The league organisers manually launch a dedicated server, people join through the matchmaker and afterwards the results are manually updated to a website.
This can be done a lot easier. Tyka already makes it easier to set up servers, but with the upcoming league tools it will be a walk in the park. These tools contain a scheduler to create the rooms for you! Simply select the options you want for your server, when the server has to be launched, when the race has to start and when the server has to be closed again. You can enter and organise as many rooms as you want. It’s even possible to automatically set the starting grid!
These powerful tools allow you to set up a schedule for a day, a month or even the whole year. You don’t need to worry about manually setting up rooms ever again!
Tyka’s League System
Building on the succesful formula used by its predecessor F1RST3, Tyka will again feature a fully automated league system. No waiting for results to display on the website, Tyka instantly uploads the results of each league session to the database and allows you to check your performance. With the leagues organised by skilled admins with 10 years of experience, we can assure all leagues are being run with lots of dedication and fairness for all.
Statistics
Tyka will accumulate statistics while you’re driving, keeping track of your most popular mods, the number of laps driven, the number of races won, ... You will create a full racing carreer on Tyka.
Hotlaps
Compare yourself to the other drivers and try to obtain the fastest laptime. After each attempt your results and replay will automatically upload. You can simply download the replays from your competitors and check out their driving lines. To keep it fair for all, we will have specific rules about cutting corners and wide exits. Laps that break these rules will be removed from the system.
Live Race Feed
You can already join an rFactor room as spectator. But now it will also become possible to follow the live standings from within the client. Check out the fastest laps in practise or see who is winning in league races.
Mod Organising Tool
With a game scanner that already knows all your installed mods and tracks, you can also organise your game installation. Tracks you don’t use anymore, duplicate tracks or mods that are outdated fill up your hard drive, make your game installation a mess and cause the game to launch a lot slower. With the organising tool you can delete these mods with a simple click, instead of having to reinstall the game or remove them manually.
Mod and Track Rating
Tyka will keep track of all used mods and tracks. Give your own rating to a specific mod or track and see which mod is highest rated. Looking for the most used version of a track, Tyka will display a list of the most popular versions.
Sending Room Messages
Tyka will make it possible to send a chat message from the client to the actual room! Did a race start without you, are you unable to join or don’t you feel like joining a room just to say a word to a driver? If the room setting allows you to, you can send a short message that will appear in the chat of the room!
